What'cha Gonna Do When Game 2 Rumbles On You?

Well that escalated quickly!

The Blue Jays wanted to go ahead and let everyone know that this isn’t going to be a cakewalk for the Dodgers, and I absolutely love that. Not that I have a rooting interest in either team, I just wanna see an action-packed series that hopefully goes seven games.

You gotta figure the Dodger are gonna come out hard tonight in an effort to even up the series and curb any momentum the Jays may have (not rocket science here). On the flip side, the Jays put the ball in play a ton and are going to continue to try to get to the vulnerable Dodger bullpen. With that in mind, I think the o7.5 game total is in play.

Also, I think that puts Yamamoto u5.5 K on the table as well. Jays don’t strike out a lot and they foul off a TON of balls, especially with two strikes. Yamamoto has been a beast this postseason, but Snell was they same thing and they worked his pitch count hard last night.

For bats, Vlad is you guy for the Jays with .395/.435/.289 L30 AVG/wOBA/ISO. His singles market looks really solid too. For the Dodgers, the lefty trio of Shohei, Freeman and Muncy show up again, but I think Mookie Betts may be the top target. His L30 are only OK at .333/.353/.167 but he also has a large BvP sample size against Gausman and is batting .314 against him in 56 at bats with only a 10% K rate. H+R+R would be my starting spot, but I’ll dabble in some other markets as well.

For the three lefties, it’s kind of a crapshoot unless you wanna extend a bunch of bankroll, so it’s part of the reason why I’m targeting the 7.5 total instead.

That’s about it … Let’s go get some GREEN!

Well That Was Unexpected

Well that escalated quickly! Just three days ago we were all set to start throwing some dirt on the Blue Jays after their 18 inning loss and now here we are with champagne on ice for the Jays in game

All Knotted Up!

Huge rebound day yesterday for the Jays and we got ourselves a series that’s all square at two games apiece. Game one starters Blake Snell and Trey Yesavage return for this one, and while that result
