Well That Was Unexpected

Well that escalated quickly! Just three days ago we were all set to start throwing some dirt on the Blue Jays after their 18 inning loss and now here we are with champagne on ice for the Jays in game 6. What a series!

It’s do or die time for the Dodgers and DIE is exactly what their bats have been doing for most of this series, so it’s hard to make many confident selections. Mookie Betts has a great BvP numbers against Gausman, but he has totally sucked this entire series. I’ve tried to have faith in him (and Max Muncy too) and they keep screwing us over.

There’s one Dodger bat I have confidence in tonight … Shohei Ohtani. I had a strong feeling that game 5 would be a dud for him … coming off two straight nights where he had to play 18 innings and then pitch six innings I had the feeling he would be totally fried in game 5 (he was). Best baseball player on the planet or not, the dude’s body simply had to be sore. But with a day off I think he’s ready to pull out all the stops to have a huge game that carries his team and forces a game 7. I will definitely have exposure.

For the Jays … what really can you target confidently when facing a guy who has rattled off two straight complete games? Yamamoto has been an absolute beast. I may look at his “pitcher outs” market just to see what it is because the Dodgers sure as hell don’t wanna leave this one up to the bullpen, but Vegas knows that too so I imagine the juice will be high.

I will likely dump some money on Ohtani and then see what happens from there. I’d say I’d do some live betting, but it’s Halloween and I gotta go to a party and I usually try to “drunk live bet” as little as possible cuz it makes me lose most of the time.

Happy Halloween … Let’s go get some GREEN!

All Knotted Up!

Huge rebound day yesterday for the Jays and we got ourselves a series that’s all square at two games apiece. Game one starters Blake Snell and Trey Yesavage return for this one, and while that result

Is Game 3 Over Yet?

What a crazy marathon game last night/this morning and to be quite frank … what a crushing loss for the Blue Jays. They lose in 18, lose one of their best players, exhaust their bullpen, and now they
