It’s time for “the D” … meaning ALDS and NLDS of course. Get your minds out of the gutter!

As always, my personal plays are posted publicly in the Break the Odds Discord, the Mosh Pit Discord, and often shared on my X account. Reminder: Default listing for stats is L30 AVE/wOBA/ISO.
✅ THE SLATE ✅
Chicago Cubs at Milwaukee Brewers, 2p
For the Brewers, the two bats that stand out against the Mix are Joey Ortiz (.500/.555/.300 and Andrew Vaughn (.429/.389/.071). L45 listed for both because of the sample size vs. lefties. Neither Ortiz nor Vaughn have been hot of late, so that’s a consideration as well.
Seiya Suzuki continues to be at the heart of anything the Cubs are able to do offensively, so he’s definitely the one I’d be looking at for the Cubs. Numbers aren’t ideal (.265/.362/.324)
New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 4p
Vegas sees this as the game with the highest chance of offense, so we can look at some bats for sure.
The Yankees as a whole have a decent BvP against Gausman with Judge, Stanton and Goldschmidt leading the way. Aaron Judge would be the top bat of choice with a .353/.431/.588 set against the Mix.
George Springer (.400/.516/.567) and Nathan Lukes (.342/.398/.289) are the two bats that stand out for the Jays. Gil is definitely the worst pitcher on the slate (not counting Melton since he’s more of a reliever), so attacking him ain’t a terrible idea. They’re also both on fire this past week.
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 6:30p
One of my favorite plays of the day is Cristopher Sanchez under 17.5 outs. He of course is a solid pitcher capable of going 6 innings, but this is the playoffs and he’s facing the Dodgers. Managers have quicker hooks and every situation matters, so I’ll ride that under.
Teo Hernandez Mix numbers aren’t good, but he’s also batting .417 with two HRs off Sanchez, so he’s worth a look.
F5 u3.5 total is in play with two really strong pitchers on the hill. Tough to fade the Dodgers bats at any time (and this also goes against the Sanchez u17.5 idea).
Detroit Tigers at Seattle Mariners, 8:30p
My other favorite play of the day is Troy Melton u8.5 outs. He’s not a starter and I just don’t see them staying with him for that long. Yes he could have the game of his life, but he would need to have the game of his life.
Julio Rodriguez matches up well (.375/.444/.325) and is the top bat for the Mariners.
For the Tigers, Kerry Carpenter and Javy Baez had solid performances in the wild cars. Carpenter has the best numbers against the Mix (.346/.404/.308)
That’s all for now … Let’s go get some GREEN!
