Decent start on day one … let’s keep it going!

As always, my personal plays are posted publicly in the Break the Odds Discord, the Mosh Pit Discord, and often shared on my X account.

✅ THE SLATE ✅

Detroit Tigers at Cleveland Guardians, 1p

  • The Guardians ran into the Skubal freight train, but get Mize today. Jose Ramirez stacks up with with .333/.404/.310 (AVG/wOBA/ISO). He’s also 5-10 off Mize with 2 HR and batting .316 the last 7 days.

San Diego Padres vs. Chicago Cubs, 3p

  • Wind blowing in again today at Wrigley so we can look at some F5 and game total unders.

  • If you do want to consider bats, Michael Busch has been hot for the Cubs. His L21 totals against the Pitch Mix are .240/.408/.560 … Average is low, but the other peripherals are there.

  • Cubs are using Kittredge as an opener. Indications are Imanaga will follow. He hasn’t been great of late, but nobody on the Padres stands out.

  • Dylan Cease has owned Ian Happ in his career … 1-21 with 10 Ks

Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees, 6p

  • I’ll won’t flat out say “fade Aaron Judge,” but he’s also 2-21 in his career against Bello.

  • Best Yankee bat against the mix is Ben Rice at .383/.450/.340 … I’ll have some shares of him today.

  • Romy Gonzalez against lefties is always in play, though most aren’t having as good a year as Rodon. Worth consideration, but no need to have a ton on him.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 9p

  • Shohei Ohtani (.333/.487/.590) and Mookie Betts (.383/.478/.426) are the bats to look at in this game.

  • I have no interest in the Reds. Too streaky and unpredictable.

That’s all for now … Let’s go get some GREEN!

Well That Was Unexpected

Well that escalated quickly! Just three days ago we were all set to start throwing some dirt on the Blue Jays after their 18 inning loss and now here we are with champagne on ice for the Jays in game

All Knotted Up!

Huge rebound day yesterday for the Jays and we got ourselves a series that’s all square at two games apiece. Game one starters Blake Snell and Trey Yesavage return for this one, and while that result
