The Yankees are on the ropes and I expect a wild one in the Bronx. Plus there’s like another game being played too or something. 😂

As always, my personal plays are posted publicly in the Break the Odds Discord, the Mosh Pit Discord, and often shared on my X account. Reminder: Default listing for stats is L30 AVG/wOBA/ISO.

✅ THE SLATE ✅

Seattle Mariners vs. Detroit Tigers, 4p

  • Nobody really stands out for the Tigers as far as the Pitch Mix goes. Gleyber Torres and Riley Greene have decent BvP against Gilbert, but I’m not super excited about either. Kerry Carpenter has had a decent postseason, so I’d put him in the maybe pile.

  • The bat that stands out for the Mariners is Jorge Polanco. He’s 3-8 this postseason with two HRs and his numbers against the Mix are good too (.375/.417/.333). Outside of that, I have no numbers to back it up, but I have a hunch the Dumper is going yard today, so put Cal Raleigh on the list as well.

  • I hate Jack Flaherty. Always have. Can never get a good read on the mofo … he’s great when I expect him to suck and sucks when I expect him to be good. If I were to get sucked in to a play, it’s probably o1.5 earned runs allowed. It’s juicy at -140, but I might dabble in a parlay or something.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees, 8p

  • It’s do or die tonight for the Yanks in front of their home crowd. Shane Bieber has been decent, but nothing spectacular. Even as a Yankee hater I get the feeling this series doesn’t end tonight and the Yanks bats show up. Taking o7.5 for the game total definitely in play.

  • Yanks gonna live or die on Aaron Judge, who’s been hitting well this postseason. He’s my top bat for the Yankees, though I should note he’s 1-13 in his career off Bieber. Pitch Mix numbers aren’t great either.

  • Vlad Guerrero is 10-17 off Rodon in his career and is hot as lava right now. Easily the top bat of the day. Alejandro Kirk and George Springer match up well too, which again makes me feel good about taking the game total over.

That’s all for now … Let’s go get some GREEN!

All Knotted Up!

Huge rebound day yesterday for the Jays and we got ourselves a series that’s all square at two games apiece. Game one starters Blake Snell and Trey Yesavage return for this one, and while that result
