Fire up the Cannons for the “Battle of the Jonathans!” Here’s to the one with the bat defeating the one who is a typically crappy pitcher.

Manaea has been OK in his two starts this season, but it’s only two starts. Plus, Trout is .429 in his career against him with 3 HRs.

Will Smith (LAD) vs. Chris Paddack [GRADE: A-]
Smith has been on a bit of a heater this week, and here’s another nice matchup.

Wenceel Perez (DET) vs. Bailey Falter [GRADE: B+]
L60 numbers here to bump the sample size a little, but they’re strong even in the small sample.

Willson Contreras (STL) vs. Kyle Freeland [GRADE: B+]
You’ll pay Coors prices like always. Also worth noting that Contreras is 0-10 against Freeland, so fading is an option, but the numbers are there.
